Just a little space for us to put some of Kaylee's cute antics from pics and videos, as well as a means of keeping everyone up to date!

Law and Order: Sesame Victims Unit
Kaylee chucks toys over the fence, but usually just groups of one type of toy at a time. Usually it's the Fisher Price Little People pieces, but one day I caught this grisly and gruesome scene.
Law and Order: Sesame Victims Unit. Dunh dunh!

Lots of Movies
I know it's been such a long time since I've done movies... I'm sorry about that. It takes forever to upload them and format the posts. So be patient with me.... and enjoy!!! The first few are just random funnies over the last couple months, and the last few are from her opening some Christmas gifts. I'll try and do better with getting movies uploaded a little more frequently. I've been having a few technical difficulties which I hope to sort out soon.
Kaylee is still changing so fast - her growth has slowed a bit, but she is learning new things every day and starting to imitate us. It's quite funny to see the things she has learned lately.
On with the movies:
The Dance of the Cheerios
LED Necklaces
Putting on her boots... (note the cute monkey
PJ's she's wearing - my favorites!)
Turn, turn, turn....
Mommy and Kaylee having fun...
Christmas Presents....
Just starting to understand there are toys
INSIDE the paper... and Kaylee loves the
Fisher Price Little People - listen to Ian's
comment at the end... :)
Starting to get into ripping the paper off...
Opening a photo book I made for her. There
is a picture of the three of us on the front, see
her reaction when she recognizes us...
Need a little help from Mommy...
This one needed a little extra help.. Kaylee
LOVES the Fisher Price Little People stuff.
Oh, I really REALLY LOVE Elmo! (and Big
Bird, Grover, and Cookie Monster!)
Thank you everyone for blessing us with your love,
sweet gifts for Kaylee, and even though it's past the
middle of January, have a wonderful and blessed
New Year in 2010!
Love,
Ian, Georgine, & Kaylee

Quick Update
Kaylee had a checkup and shots appointment last week - just thought I'd share her stats and start uploading the movies I've been talking about.
So as of 1/7/10, Kaylee is:
32 1/2 inches tall (90th percentile)
22 lbs. 14 oz. (45th percentile)
and her head circumference is 47 cm (75th percentile).
So she is long and lean - she burns it off as soon as I give it to her. Her numbers are pretty consistent from visit to visit though, so nothing to worry about. All I know is she's so wiggly that it's hard to carry her up and down the stairs now. Forget carrying a few grocery bags AND Kaylee at the same time...
There should be a big change this summer when she'll learn how to walk up and down the stairs... so far the stairs are too big for her, she can crawl up and down just fine, but they're too big to step up and down for her.
Oh, did I mention it's now January 18, and I am JUST taking my tree down? Well, it's undecorated now... but anyhow, we love it, so that's all that matters, right?

Kaylee Loves TV
"Experts" sometimes say that children who watch TV are less intelligent than their peers. I say that those "experts" probably don't have toddlers.
I am thankful that there are dedicated channels for toddlers that play mostly educational, age-appropriate programming. My favorite channel for Kaylee is PBS Sprout. They play Sesame Street, which is my personal favorite... But Kaylee's favorite is on a Nick Jr. I don't care for most of their programming, but they play "Yo Gabba Gabba". She's in a trance when this show is on, and I know I have 20 minutes to myself when it starts playing - I can wash my hair, do dishes, get dressed, etc.
Anyway, enough about TV. Here are some cute pics of Kaylee watching TV. Oh, by the way, she *does* have several chairs of her very own, but now that she can climb, she seems to prefer OURS. Hehe... And we're still shopping for a couple of love seats, so there is a lot of floor space in the living room right now.
On with the cuteness:
Sort of sitting... hehe.... she likes to climb up on the table
top and we're constantly telling her to "SIT DOWN!"

Kaylee Halloween
I know some of these posts are out of order, but I don't really care. I need to get this blog updated and I have so many cute Christmas movies coming...
I dressed Kaylee up as Minnie Mouse for Halloween this year. I was inspired when I went into the Disney Store while we were in Florida in September. The Minnie Mouse outfit was really expensive though, so I didn't buy it. The ears, however, were only about $7.00... I took our favorite sundress and decided to wear it as Minnie's dress, and just threw a pair of yoga pants and a long sleeved onesie underneath, and it was perfect!
My mom has many more excellent shots from this evening (we took her out) and once I get a copy, I'll update this post with a few more pics...
