Hello again, it's been a while! I need to stop waiting so long between posts. It takes a LONG time to upload pics and movies when you do massive quantities.
So welcome to the June/July 2010 edition of massive cute overload of Kaylee. :) She had a lot of different adventures these past few weeks, including:
Playing INSIDE the tupperware cabinet under the kitchen sink...
Practicing her rockstar attitude... (she mostly refuses to look at the camera now, though we do occasionally get some great shots - which you'll see as you scroll down)
Watching TV on her horse and learning horseback riding tricks like standing on the saddle...
Growing more hair every day...
Playing hide and seek under the quilt on the rocking chair...
Finding new and exciting seating arrangements for television viewing...
Flying a kite with Daddy and playing outside on the grassy field...
(Daddy untangling Kaylee from the kite...)
Exploring our new tent...
Going to the annual family reunion potluck...
Hanging out at home and generally being cute...
Rocking on the Ottoman... (movie)
Still stacking blocks... (movie)
Lots of playing in the bathtub...
More TV, enhanced by lap-desk balancing...
Enjoying the beauty of summer weather, green grass, the sweet smell of clover, and happily running around outside...
Waking up from naps with giggles and sillies...
Trying to climb out of bed... uh oh... life is getting interesting...
Dancing in the crib.... (movie)
Playing in the laundry basket.... literally, inside the basket!
Some fun times with Daddy at McDonald's Play Place in Grand Falls, NB...
Exploring the tunnel...
Curly curly summer humidity hair....
More happy girl pictures...
Practicing those language skills... (movie)
Camping in New River Beach, NB... The very first evening, Kaylee demonstrated her proficiency at climbing out of the pack and play. That definitely made things a little interesting... so we kept her up every night with us, as we sat by the campfire. She fell asleep on our laps and in our arms, and then it was safe to put her to bed. Truth be told, she could totally climb out of her crib also, but I think that she's intimidated by it's height. Regardless, we ordered her a toddler bed which will arrive later this week and we'll start a new bedtime adventure.
Helping Mommy unpack...
Hanging with Nana...
Daddy time...
New sand toys...
Going to the beach with all of us...
Holding Daddy and Papa's hands...
Exploring the tidal pools...
Splashing around...
Kaylee really loved every single minute - she sat down and filled her boots, quite literally.
More splashing... (movie)
Leading the way for Daddy...
Coming back from watching the tide roll in...
She really *loved* all the water!
Walking in the water in the tidal pool... (movie)
The fog was so thick and heavy - we couldn't see where the water was off on the beach - we could only hear the waves crashing onto the shore as the tide moved in. Ian took Kaylee out to see the water come in, and she stood there, completely mesmerized, for about 7 minutes!
The next day, the sun came out and burned off all the cold and fog. We took Kaylee to the playground at the park and got some great shots of her demonstrating her mad play structure climbing skillz! We call this series, "Kaylee loves to go down the slide!"
Check out the huge smile on her face!
Going back around for another trip!
Later that day, we took a little drive exploring the coastal towns, ending up in St. Andrews and just wandering around for a little while before making our way back to the campground...
Looking over the edge of the pier...
And one more movie... we were driving in the car to Saint John to pick up a few things we needed, and Daddy recorded Kaylee for a few minutes. Watch all the way to the end, when you'll be rewarded with a great smile! (movie)
Well that's about it for this post! Hope you enjoyed it, and stay tuned... Next month's adventures will include a big girl bed, a tricycle, and more cuteness!
Ian, Georgine, and Kaylee :)
Man, you have quite a cute little girl! I love looking at all the pictures and seeing a glimpse of what Colin will be doing next. Adorable!
